Discover the Basics of Watercolor in Paris: A Creative Escape at Castille Paris
What if, during your stay in Paris, you simply took the time to slow down?
A rainy day, a few hours before dinner, a break between two visits, or simply the desire to share a different kind of experience… Castille Paris becomes the setting for a little creative escape.
As an artist in residence at Castille Paris, I now offer small-group watercolor workshops, inviting guests to discover the basics of this beautiful technique in a calm and elegant setting.
A workshop to learn…
but above all, to take your time
There is no need to know how to draw or to have any previous watercolor experience.
I prepare several pre-drawn illustrations with different levels of difficulty, so everyone can choose a design that suits them and work at their own pace.
During the workshop, I guide you through the first steps: understanding colors, learning how to control the amount of water, creating different shades, and gradually bringing your illustration to life.
The goal is not to create a perfect artwork.
It is simply to take the time to make something with your own hands, discover a new technique, and fully enjoy the moment.
An experience to share
The workshop can be booked for one person or for up to four participants.
It is therefore also a lovely way to share a creative moment with a partner, friends, or your child.
Everyone works on their own illustration, with the option to choose a different level of difficulty.
And at the end of the workshop, everyone takes home their original watercolor painting.

We often think of Paris as a city to explore: museums, boutiques, gardens, monuments…
But sometimes, a Parisian day is better suited to slowing down.
Autumn arrives, the days grow shorter, and rain occasionally finds its way into the plans. Perhaps that is exactly the right time to settle somewhere warm, pick up a paintbrush, and discover another side of Paris.
At Castille Paris, the workshop becomes a little pause away from the pace of sightseeing.
An hour or two to paint, chat, discover watercolor, and simply enjoy the passing of time.

A creative escape in the heart of Paris to discover watercolor painting alongside an artist. Introduction to the materials, creation of a color chart, and painting of one or two original illustrations pre-drawn by the artist. All materials provided and personalized guidance throughout the workshop.
